We are pleased to announce that the European Heart Network is expanding its presence within the World Heart Federation’s (WHF) structure.
For a number of years Kristina Sparreljung (EHN Treasurer) has supported the WHF Board as a member, lately also in the role of WHF treasurer. She will now be newly joined by Charmaine Griffiths (EHN President). Both EHN Board members will serve on the WHF Board 2023-24 for a two-year term where they will work with all board members to guide the Federation’s leadership.
Birgit Berger, EHN CEO, will continue her mandate within WHF’s Advocacy Committee, which connects all the Federation’s stakeholders on all advocacy-related issues. We are looking forward to our continued collaboration with WHF and excited to see what this year will have in store for Cardiovascular health at global level!
