On 30 June 2025, the EU4Health Civil Society Alliance (CSA) launched Health4Europe, a forward-looking proposal for the next EU Health Programme. The initiative aims to reinforce the European Health Union and ensure that health remains a political and financial priority in the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
Building on the progress of the current EU4Health Programme, the blueprint sets out a clear roadmap for how the EU can address future health challenges. It aligns with the European Commission’s 2024–2029 Political Guidelines and incorporates CSA priorities such as:
While geopolitical concerns dominate the current EU agenda, the EU4Health CSA highlights that health is essential for Europe’s long-term competitiveness and resilience. A healthy population is a key driver of productivity, stability and economic growth.

The blueprint invites EU institutions to work collaboratively with civil society to shape a more inclusive and sustainable health strategy for Europe.
