Spanish Heart Foundation

The Spanish Heart Foundation (FEC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the adverse impact of cardiovascular diseases and promote better cardiovascular health in the Spanish population. It is promoted by the Spanish Society of Cardiology in 1967 which, under the name of Fundación Hispana de Cardiología, began to carry out health education campaigns aimed at the population. It was in 1995 when it acquired its current name and since then, S.A.R. the Infanta Doña Margarita de Borbón is the honorary president.

Our organization has more than 55 years of impeccable trajectory and is subject to the protectorate of Foundations. We have, among our partners, more than 7,000 members with a professional profile related to cardiovascular diseases (among them cardiologists, but also other professional profiles, and cardiology nurses) and, most valuable, more than 6,000 affiliated citizens as private members.
