EHN is actively involved in EU-funded initiatives aimed at reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through prevention, advocacy, and promoting health equity. Below are the projects that reflect EHN’s commitment to prevention:

The main goal of the FILTERED project is to stimulate collaborative advocacy, health promotion, action and accountability at European and national level, for the prevention of NCDs among civil society organisations specialised in advocacy linked to the reduction of alcohol-related harm, tobacco control and the reduction of the consumption of unhealthy foods and drinks

JACARDI

JACARDI is a collaborative initiative that supports 21 countries in tackling the burden of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and diabetes at individual, community, and systemic levels. The project focuses on promoting sustainable and integrated approaches to CVD and diabetes care, enhancing care quality and addressing health inequalities, and empowering younger generations for healthier lifestyles.
