In its response to the WHO discussion paper on a Global Monitoring Framework and Voluntary Global Targets for the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases, EHN calls for these targets to be adopted globally.
Although not all targets may be equally achievable in all countries in the world, EHN encourages all countries to demonstrate their commitment to implement the UN Political Declaration on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases and must accept targets even if they are aspirational.
