Cardiovascular disease remains the first cause of death in the EU, claiming the lives of 1.8 million people every year. On Valentine’s Day, the co-chairs of the MEP Heart Group, Brando Benifei and Maria Carvalho, are calling on their colleagues to join the MEP Heart Group and push for ambitious EU action for CVD.
