The Swiss Heart Foundation was established in 1967 by a group of proactive doctors.
It is the only non-profit organization in the cardiovascular field in Switzerland that is active in promoting research as well as education and prevention. It is accredited by the Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations which is part of the Federal Department of Home Affairs.
