On 20th March 2024, the European Heart Network (EHN) Poster on the reduction of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) was selected to be presented at the European Commission’s (EC) stakeholders webinar within the framework of the Healthier Together – EU non-communicable diseases initiative.
As part of the Healthier Together – EU non-communicable diseases initiative, EU-level health associations were invited to present ideas to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The EHN Poster focuses on how our organisation will support the prevention of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) in the European Union (EU). At the stakeholders’ meeting, EHN stressed the need for an EU cardiovascular Health Plan, and the importance of working in synergy with national governments and health organisations.
At the European Commission’s (EC) stakeholder webinar, other EU-level health organisations presented their poster. These include the European Chronic Disease Alliance (ECDA) and the European Alliance for Cardiovascular Health (EACH), of which EHN is member.
