Current Projects

EHN is involved in several ongoing EU-funded research projects as a patient representative partner in each consortium. EHN’s primary role is to bring the patient perspective to the design and development of each project and to facilitate active and structured patient engagement in each project.

The main goal of the FILTERED project is to stimulate collaborative advocacy, health promotion, action and accountability at European and national level, for the prevention of NCDs among civil society organisations specialised in advocacy linked to the reduction of alcohol-related harm, tobacco control and the reduction of the consumption of unhealthy foods and drinks

HYPERMARKER

HYPERMARKER is a four-year international research project that received a 10 million euro grant from Horizon Europe and UK Research and Innovation.

AI Powered Data Curation and Publishing Virtual Assistant (AIDAVA)

AIDAVA is a four-year project mainly funded by the Horizon Europe programme coordinated by the Universiteit Maastricht.

AtheroNET COST Action

Network for implementing multiomics approaches in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease prevention and research, or AtheroNET, is a 4-year COST Action project which aims to connect experts from different fields that will focus on the use of multiple omics technologies and
data integration through machine learning/artificial intelligence to bring novel paradigms in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease care. 

Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence for Personalised Risk Assessment in Chronic Heart Failure (AI4HF)

AI4HF is a 4-year Horizon Europe project that aims to co-design, develop, evaluate and exploit an integrative and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) solution for personalised heart failure (HF) risk assessment.
