MEP Cardiovascular Health Group

The MEP Cardiovascular Health (CVH) Group is the successor to the MEP Heart Group, which was established in 2007 by the European Heart Network (EHN) and jointly run with the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) for 15 years (2008–2023).

Formed in October 2024 by the European Alliance for Cardiovascular Health (EACH), the Members of the European Parliament Cardiovascular Health Group provides MEPs with a platform to foster dialogue, outreach, and activities at both the EU and Member State levels. This group comprises MEPs dedicated to advancing policies that reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) across Europe, elevating CVD as a priority on the EU political agenda. The Secretariat of this group is managed by EACH, with the support of its partners.

If you are an MEP interested in joining the group, please reach out to the EACH secretariat at each@escardio.org
