EHN is looking for a trainee for the Scoreboard project

EHN is looking for a dynamic intern who is willing to learn and contribute to our small team by working on a 6-months research and data collection project aimed at assessing the state of national cardiovascular prevention and management programmes.

The successful candidates will work closely with and report to EHN’s manager for cardiovascular disease prevention, on a 6-months research and data collection project aimed at assessing the state of national CVD prevention and management programmes. Other tasks to be fulfilled as appropriate and agreed in the trainee programme.

Tasks :

  • Perform desk research, data collection, processing and analysis
  • Develop research paper, presentation of findings and visuals
  • Help develop content for EHN website and social media
  • Monitoring and online meetings attendance as appropriate

Job qualifications :

  • Quick learner, ability to grasp complex concepts rapidly
  • University-level education (Master’s degree), preferably in the area of public health, humanistic or social studies
  • Maximum 1 year working experience
  • Knowledge of and possible experience with EU legislation and procedures
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English, a good level of other European languages (FR, IT, ES, DE) would be ideal for the research and data collection project
  • Experience in data collection and strong research and analytic skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with digital tools and social media

Internship details:

  • Full-time position
  • Work place: Brussels/Teleworking depending on the respective health/employment regulation applicable
  • Minimum duration internship 6 months, possibility to extended, but no longer than 12 months in total
  • Remuneration: Internship contract under the Belgian Convention d’immersion professionnelle (CIP framework) with a compensation of 829.20 euros/month
