EHN Charter for European CVD Patients
- January 25th 2012
The EHN Charter for European Cardiovascular Disease Patients sets out prerequisites to achieve the aim of ensuring patients a high quality of life, free of avoidable disabilities, and also to allow them to continue their professional lives where appropriate. The document comprises provisions for patients from early assistance in acute cases to treatment, rehabilitation and secondary prevention.
The Charter has been drafted by EHN and its patients' member organisations in the framework of EU co-funded project EUROHEART II, of which the EHN is the leading partner. Please find here the Charter and its Annex.
